Discussion Forum > Best Websites to Visit to During Finals Time

Our friends at LexisNexis Law School are crowdsourcing a playlist of music to listen to while studying, but we were wondering what websites you are visiting to relax, de-stress, or just plain procrastinate during finals?

I think this is perfect for law students during finals. I found it pretty funny.

Nothing academic, I say. hulu.com for videos of SNL digital shorts, Lonely Island videos, and any other clip I can justify as a "break." Facebook and Twitter are obvious, but are only for the least and most disciplined students--one trip to good ole' facebook can still derail more than an hour of studying time for me, but I do it anyway, because it's one of my few tethers to reality during studying time. For quick stress relief and laughter, theonion.com is great--especially their legal section.

One of my favorite quick-to-browse (but heavy on interest and inspiration) sites is Design Fetish: http://design-fetish.blogspot.com/. Good for a few minutes of "wow".

Simple: law revue videos. If you're new to law school, many schools across the nation do a "Law Revue," where students put on a comedy show making light of law school or the legal profession. Other schools have taken it to a different level where they make a music video of a popular song and change the lyrics to something law school themed. Just go to YouTube and type in "law revue" and a bunch of videos should come up. Above the Law also has a contest every year for the best law revue videos. Here is the link for the 2011 contest finalists:

When I was in law school, I needed study breaks to breathe, smile, and laugh. I found some great clips on YouTube of The Yip Yips, Tom Green, Foamy the Squirrel, and Where the Hell is Matt: http://bit.ly/gkPwE4.
